A Seminar on Road Safety Awareness

Department of Civil Engineering organized an expert talk in collaboration with Rajkot City Police for the students of Civil and Mechanical Engineering regarding various aspects of road safety for vehicle users and pedestrian. This seminar was delivered by various officers from Rajkot City Police and RTO, Rajkot such as Ms. Pooja Yadav (IPS, DCP Traffic – Rajkot), Mr. Ketan Khaped (RTO, Rajkot). Students learned important aspects of road safety such as black spots and other causes of accidents and their remedial measures one can adopt to avoid accidents. Students also learned about various government schemes for helping victims of traffic accidents. This seminar is great opportunity for the students who are willing to pursue their carrier in the transportation field.
