Department of Mechanical Engineering organized industrial visits at DCM Bearings Pvt. Ltd. and Gujarat Lathe Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd., Rajkot for the students of BE 3rd and 5th semester on 05th August 2023.
DCM Bearings Pvt. Ltd. has world-class capabilities in the forging shop with state-of-the-art lines of Power Presses ranging from 75T to 300T. During the visit to DCM bearing, the student understood the bearing manufacturing process, including the forging process, heat treatment process, CNC machining, Grinding, and Bearing Inspection Process.
Gujarat Lathe Mfg. Co. Pvt. Ltd. Is one of the foremost lathe machine Suppliers in India. In Gujarat lathe Students visited different departments and observed the Conventional Boring, Planner Machine, Hobbing Machine, and assembly departments and learned about the lathe manufacturing process.
