National Level Conference "Yoga Sambhasha – 2023"

“Yoga Sambhasha – 2023” - A National Level Conference on Yoga organized by Darshan Institute of Humanities was an esteemed gathering of renowned yoga experts, scholars, and practitioners from across the country. The conference objectives were to promote and propagate the ancient Indian practice of yoga as a means of holistic wellbeing for individuals and society as a whole. The conference featured insightful keynote speeches, paper presentations and interactive sessions on various aspects of yoga, including its history, philosophy, benefits, and contemporary applications.

Pro. Vd. Arpan A. Bhatt – Dean Panning, ITRA, Jamnagar delivered a session on “Relevance of Yoga Knowledge In Science & Society” and Prof. Vivek Maheshwari – Provost, Lakulish Yoga University, Ahmedabad conducted the session on “Yoga for Psycho – Physiological Immunity”.

Dr. C. Nagraj – HOD, Dept. of Yoga Therapy, Lakulish Yoga University, Ahmedabad presented “Scientific Purview of Integrated Yoga Therapy” the session of Dr. Kamal Parikh, Physician, Rajkot was about “Relevance of Yoga Knowledge In Science & Society – A Physician View”

The conference was attended by over 160 participants, including yoga enthusiasts, students, and faculties. 21 candidates presented research papers, and 18 candidates presented posters on the theme of yoga. The conference concluded with enthralling advanced yoga dance performances from the candidates. In general, the conference served the real meaning of ‘Relevance of Yoga in Science & Society’. The conference also provided a platform for networking, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among the participants. Selected papers will be published in conference proceedings with ISBN numbers without any additional fees. This National Level Conference on Yoga was a significant initiative towards fostering a healthier and happier nation through the timeless wisdom of yoga.
