One day Industrial Visit at GSECL Thermal Power Station, Sikka, Jamnagar

Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an industrial visit at GSECL, Thermal Power Station, Sikka, Jamnagar for the students of the 3rd, 5th & 7th semesters on 10th July 2024. The visit was an incredibly valuable and rewarding experience for the students, who gained an invaluable glimpse of coal-based power generating station’s various systems like coal and ash handling System, steam and cooling water system, boiler, steam turbines and generator system, control and transformation System, and electrical and power distribution system.
