Industrial Visit for 5th Semester Students at Wanakbori Thermal Power Station and Ukai Hydro Power S

An industrial visit was organized for the 5th Semester Students of the diploma mechanical engineering department on 30th and 31st July 2024. A Deputy Section Engineer and their supporting technical staff from Wanakbori Thermal Power Station and Ukai Hydro Thermal Power Station have given the students, knowledge regarding general procedure of generating the power. Also demonstrate the various equipment function which is use in power plant. By visiting boiler maintenance department, turbine maintenance department, switch yard, coal handling department and water handling department student can understand the practical fundamentals and corelate with theoretical subjects.
