Industrial Visit at Amtech Casting Pvt. Ltd.

Department of mechanical engineering organized industrial visit for the students of 4th semester & 6th semester on 13th December2024 at Amtech Investment Casting Private Limited, Rajkot.
Amtech specializes in the lead to of investment castings in all predilection melted alloys including culminating Carbon Steels, Stainless Steel, Ni base Alloys (Inconels, Monel, CZ 100), Co base alloys and wear resistant alloys and non-ferrous alloys.
During the visit Students observed various process like Wax Injection, Pattern Assembly, Shell Building, Dewaxing Operation, Shell Pre Heating, Metal Pouring, Heat treatment, Shot Blasting, Finishing Operation, Final Casting Inspection, Machining and Final Inspection department.
The main purpose of this visit is to provide a practical approach towards learning and understanding the industries. It motivates students to pursue their career goals, develop new idea and improve their skills.
