The Department of Computer Applications, DICA, organized an academic visit to Science City, Ahmedabad for the BCA/BSc IT 4^th Semester Students on 18-01-2025. The visit to Science City in Ahmedabad aimed to explore its unique exhibits and interactive displays, fostering an understanding of science and technology in an engaging manner. Science City is a sprawling educational and entertainment complex developed by the Government of Gujarat. It is designed to make learning science a fun and memorable experience for visitors . The students began their exploration at the Hall of Science, which showcased a wide array of interactive displays, explaining fundamental scientific principles. They actively engaged with exhibits on topics such as energy conservation, optics, and electromagnetism, gaining practical insights into theoretical concepts. The Technology Hall offered a glimpse into the latest innovations and technological breakthroughs. Students were particularly fascinated by demonstrations on artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and sustainable technologies. Hands-on interaction with robots allowed them to experience the potential applications of robotics in real-world scenarios.
