Herbal Tree Plantation Drive

Darshan University organized the Herbal Tree Plantation Drive 2025 with great enthusiasm, led by the active participation of NCC cadets and graced by the presence of our Hon’ble Provost Shri M. V. Shanghani Sir. A variety of herbal and medicinal plants—including tulsi, neem, aloe vera, and ashwagandha—were planted across the campus to promote environmental sustainability and support a healthier ecosystem.
Provost Shanghani Sir encouraged the cadets and students with his inspiring presence, highlighting the importance of preserving nature and adopting eco-friendly practices. The event aimed to spread awareness about the significance of herbal plants, enhance the campus green cover, and motivate students to contribute to environmental protection.
The dedicated participation of NCC cadets added energy and discipline to the drive, inspiring the university community to work towards a cleaner, greener, and healthier future. The plantation initiative truly reflected the values of responsibility, service, and environmental awareness.
Who we are?
Darshan University - having the foundation of its first Institution laid in 2009, and later on, established and consolidated under Gujarat Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act of 2021. It is one of the leading institutes within Saurashtra that offers Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral Courses.
