One Week Collaborative Workshop on - Advanced AutoCAD with GD&T

A skill development activity was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Darshan Institute of Engineering and Technology for the 4th semester B. Tech students. The program was conducted from 24th Nov to 28th Nov 2025 with the objective of enhancing the students' technical drawing skills through hands-on training in AutoCAD software. The sessions were conducted in collaboration with Sopan Institute of Engineering & Design. Managing Director Mr. Bhavin Vadgama, along with his expert team, led the training sessions. The training covered essential modules such as AutoCAD 2D drafting, AutoCAD Design understanding, and fundamentals of GD&T. This activity helped students build a strong foundation in computer-aided design, which is a vital skill in the field of mechanical engineering.
