Industrial Learning Session for Casting Processes at New Ramesh Industries, Rajkot

The Department of Mechanical Engineering successfully organized the 4th Industrial Learning Session for 4th Semester Mechanical Engineering students at New Ramesh Industries on 22 January 2026 under the MP-I course. The session was conducted by industry expert Mr. Nimesh Nasit, who provided valuable practical insights into casting operations, including charging, tapping, melting, and pouring processes. Students gained first-hand exposure to shop-floor workflow, industrial machinery, production procedures, and quality control practices followed in a real manufacturing environment. The visit effectively bridged the gap between theoretical concepts and real-time industrial applications, enhancing students’ technical understanding, practical skills, and industry readiness.
