Expert Session on “Payroll Management”

The HR Club of DIM organized an Expert talk session on “Payroll Management” on 28th January, 2026 at Auditorium 1, G-Block.
The session on Payroll Management was conducted by Ms. Khushi Gajjar, who is HR Manager at Imphel Motors. During the session, she discussed key aspects such as the meaning and scope of payroll, and clarified the differences between Payroll, Salary, and CTC. She also explained important statutory deductions including PF, Professional Tax, and Gratuity, making the session highly informative and enriching for the students.
The Company Owner, Mr. Grinij Haria, also accompanied her and delivered a motivational talk towards the end of the session, encouraging students to develop professional readiness and industry awareness.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A round, where students actively raised queries and gained deeper insights into the subject.
The session was attended by faculty members including Dean of Department Dr. Alpesh Gajera, Dr. Uma Sharma, Ms. Bindiya Chauhan, and Mr. Dhaval Simejiya, along with 120 BBA Semester IV (A, B & C) students.
