National Youth Day 2026: Run for Swadeshi

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) and National Service Scheme (NSS) units of DU, organized the “Run for Swadeshi” event to celebrate National Youth Day 2026. The three-kilometre marathon was held on the university campus to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and promote the values of self-reliance and national service. The event was attended by 52 students from various institutes of the university, including Engineering, Management, and Science. The marathon encouraged participants to embrace the spirit of self-reliance and support local initiatives in line with the vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat. The program concluded with a pledge to uphold the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and contribute positively to society, inspiring students to develop a sense of patriotism, social responsibility, and commitment to nation-building.
Who we are?
