To celebrate National Youth Day 2026, the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and National Service Scheme (NSS) units of Darshan University organized "Run for Swadeshi," a three-kilometer marathon held on the university campus. Dedicated to the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the event engaged 52 students in a university-level activity focused on social awareness and community engagement. By integrating physical fitness with the principles of the "Swadeshi" movement, the marathon encouraged participants to support local innovation and contribute to the vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat. Participants from various internal institutes, including the Engineering, Management, and Science departments, demonstrated remarkable endurance and unity throughout the run. The event concluded with a collective oath to uphold Vivekananda’s ideals of self-reliance and national service. This successful initiative underscored the commitment of the Darshan University youth to lead the national journey toward a Viksit Bharat through disciplined action and patriotic spirit.
Who we are?
Darshan University - having the foundation of its first Institution laid in 2009, and later on, established and consolidated under Gujarat Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act of 2021. It is one of the leading institutes within Saurashtra that offers Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral Courses.
