On January 16, 2026, Darshan University’s National Service Scheme (NSS) successfully concluded a transformative seven-day regional initiative titled "NSS Special Camp 2025 Domda". Held within the villages of Dhudiya Domda and Nagar Pipaliya, the camp engaged 28 students from the Darshan Institute of Management and the Darshan Institute of Computer Application under the guidance of eight faculty coordinators. This community-focused program aimed to foster social awareness, environmental responsibility, and village development through a diverse array of activities, including rural education support, "Swacchata" cleanliness drives, and women empowerment sessions. Participants also facilitated educational games for local schoolchildren and conducted unique night sky gazing sessions to inspire curiosity. The camp concluded with a valediction ceremony designed to instill lasting values of civic responsibility and teamwork in the student volunteers. Ultimately, this initiative reinforced the university's commitment to meaningful community engagement and holistic student development.
