Industrial visit to Raiyani Greensphere Corporation

On January 17, 2026, the Microbiology Department of the Darshan Institute of Science at Darshan University conducted an insightful industrial visit to the Raiyani Greensphere Corporation in Wankaner. Attended by 14 B.Sc. Microbiology students, the program aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical classroom concepts and practical industrial applications. Under the guidance of Director Mr. Arsh Raiyani, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of anaerobic digestion technology and the vital role microorganisms play in converting agricultural waste into sustainable energy. The demonstration highlighted the production of Bio-CNG and the subsequent utilization of residual waste as high-quality biofertilizer for sustainable agriculture. Faculty coordinators Mr. Milan K. Gami and Mr. Sagarkumar C. Joshi facilitated the session, which successfully enhanced student awareness of renewable energy generation and waste management practices. This institutional initiative reflects Darshan University’s ongoing commitment to fostering strong industry-academia linkages and preparing students for professional excellence.
