The Department of Civil Engineering, DIETDS organized a workshop on “Tendering and Contract.” The session was conducted by Prof. Chintan S. Raichura at the university’s D-Block and was attended by 31 fourth-semester Diploma Civil Engineering students. During the workshop, students learned about the various stages of the tendering process, including document preparation, bid evaluation, and contract awarding. Prof. Raichura also explained different types of contracts and emphasized the importance of transparency and compliance in project execution. Through practical examples and case-based discussions, the session helped students connect classroom learning with industry practices while gaining valuable knowledge of construction management and professional procedures in the civil engineering field.
