The one day conference focuses on how design can help in creating a product which looks good, performs well, user friendly and at the same time economically cheaper to manufacture at Rajkot. Furthermore, the programme highlights the importance of protection of unique design under intellectual property rights, which is crucial for business entity.

In Industry 4.0, technology is becoming very disrupting and changing rapidly, therefore design thinking & systematic design approach for manufacturing plays a vital role and it has been proven time and time again that industries or companies have been investing in design have competitive edge and better survival in tough competition. In Gujarat, Rajkot is very well recognized for machinery, machine tools, automobiles and automobile ancillaries industries.

The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MoMSME) play a role in broadening / unrolling design potential in their concerned departments. MoMSME representatives will be providing information on the updated schemes available for the micro, small and medium enterprises.
