Hands-on workshop on "AI for Beginners: From Theory to Tiny Project"

The Darshan Institute of Computer Application (DICA) at Darshan University successfully hosted a regional hands-on workshop titled "AI for Beginners: From Theory to Tiny Project" on January 31, 2026. Conducted by Prof. Naimish Vadodariya from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, the session provided BCA and BSc (IT) students with a foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence through real-life applications and practical project concepts. The event drew enthusiastic participation from over 70 students representing 15 different institutions, highlighting its broad regional impact and the growing interest in AI technologies. Participants engaged in interactive discussions regarding core AI tools and the importance of responsible implementation in modern industry. By bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world utility, the workshop successfully equipped undergraduate students with the essential insights and motivation required to pursue future academic and career opportunities within the evolving field of Artificial Intelligence.
