Expert Session on “Payroll Management”

On 28th January, 2026, the HR Club of the Darshan Institute of Management organized an insightful expert session titled "Payroll Management" at Darshan University’s Auditorium 1. The session, conducted by Ms. Khushi Gajjar, HR Manager at Imphel Motors, aimed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of statutory compliance and calculation methodologies essential for effective financial decision-making. Throughout the presentation, Ms. Gajjar clarified the distinctions between salary and CTC while detailing critical statutory deductions such as PF and gratuity. Complementing the technical discourse, Mr. Grinij Haria, owner of Imphel Motors, delivered a motivational address focusing on professional readiness. Attended by 159 participants, including BBA Semester IV students and senior faculty members, the event concluded with an interactive Q&A round. This industry-academia linkage successfully enhanced student awareness of real-world human resource practices and the complexities of modern payroll systems.
