Civil Engineering Department Organized A Work Shop on Practical Aspects of Water Resource Engineering for 6th semester students during 28 – 29 January 2020. In first session Mr. M. Khan (Research Officer, GERI – Vadodara) explain the students about the physical model technique to solve the complex flow problem in river and hydraulic structure including various models made in GERI, Vadodara. Dr. N. J. Shrimali (Associate Professor, MS University – Vadodara) delivered his session on designing of irrigation canal using Indian Standards. On the second day Mr. J. B. Kagathra (Former Special City Engineer, RMC – Rajkot) explain about various design technique used for sewage treatment plant and water treatment plant. On the second day of students also visited Sewage Treatment Plant at Raiya Dhar, Rajkot and learned various plant operation.
