Visit to Perth Ceramics Pvt. Ltd.

Students of 6th semester and 4th semester of Electrical Engineering had visited Perth Ceramics Pvt. Ltd. – Morbi as part of curriculum on 24 January 2020. To understand the concepts of the drives given in the university curriculum this visit was fruitful to the students. Plenty of drives with various ratings for different processes are installed in the industry. Therefore they could easily correlate the principles given in the books with the real time applications. Many different electrical machines with variety of ratings are used. So, 4th semester students got opportunity to understand applications of machines easily. Apart from this the industry has standard level of automation as well. Importance of Industrial Automation was clearly defined during the visit.
