Skill Development Activities for 4th & 6th Semester Diploma Students

Department of Mechanical Engineering organized various skill development activities for the 4th & 6th Semester Diploma Students. The objective of this event was to give a platform to students to learn and understand basic fundamentals along with their practical applications in various fields of mechanical engineerings, like “Smart materials” and a workshop on AutoDesk Fusion360, Creo basics, which included the part modelling, static and dynamic assemblies, GD&T with AutoCAD drawings to perform detailed assembly drawings, demonstrated different Hand tools, cutting tools, types of mechanical drives, surface inspection techniques, types of joints, different joining processes, type of nut-bolts and various measuring techniques, an application of thermography in industry, applications of various hydraulic pumps, the trouble-shooting of various hydraulic pumps. At the last Session of the event, Prof. V. G. Limbasiya conducted a seminar on “The Science of Happiness”.
