Electrical Engineering is a field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of Electricity, Electronics, and Electromagnetism. Power Engineering, Control Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, Signal Processing, Telecommunications Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electro-Optical Engineering all are sub-branches of Electrical Engineering.

Electrical Engineering Department (EED), at Darshan University for Diploma Studies is providing quality education to students. The main objective of the Department is to produce engineers who are critical, original, and independent thinkers along with the strong foundation in contemporary Electrical Engineering, basic sciences, mathematics, computing, and communication.
